Brass Band Recordings PDF Print E-mail

Brass Bands are large ensembles often consisting of at least 30 players performing at one time. This size of ensemble is challenging to record, and also challenging to organise.

At Dolce Productions we specialise in the planning, organisation, recording, editing and production of brass band CDs. By liasing with bands individually, we are able to provide a solution that exactly suits what you are looking for.

Whether it’s a short CD with some Christmas tunes put down in one take, or a challenging test piece that’s recorded in great detail, Dolce Productions has the technology to make these requests happen. We have even worked with brass band and bagpipes, brass band and singer, and most intriguingly brass band and narrator. As long as we are made aware of these requests in the planning phase we are more than willing to record any content that you wish.

Your music is captured on at least 16 individual channels at a 24-bit resolution. Some competitors claim to use these resolutions but do not do so consistently. Every recording is worth the highest quality and highest scale equipment to Dolce Productions.

Once your music has been captured, our two experienced engineers will transform your “takes” into a finished, polished CD. Once you are happy, the CD is pressed.

Our graphic designer will take care of your cover. Simply give ideas / sample images / concepts and he will transform them not just into a cover, but a work of art! See examples on our CD Samples Page. Our prices start from just £800 for a full weekend recording at the most basic of our packages. For an individual, unique quote please use the contact section. You do not fall in to our packages, we tailor them to suit YOU.
